Step 1. Preparing your resubmission

  1. Please review the comments in your evaluation report

  2. Create a response to reviewer comments document, describing any changes or a rebuttal against each point which is being raised when you submit the revised manuscript. Here is a template we recommend you use.

  3. Create PDFs of your revised manuscript, of both the clean and tracked changes versions.

  4. Give you files brief descriptive file names, and at the beginning of the file name number your files in the order you would like them to be read. Start with your manuscript as 01.

Step 2. Updating your preprint

  1. Create a new version of your preprint in Zenodo (or wherever you registered your preprint), removing if necessary any old files that do not belong to your new version, and upload your revised files to your new version.

<aside> ‼️ On Zenodo, make sure to use the “new version” green button when updating your preprint. The yellow “edit” button only edits the metadata for the current version of your preprint, when you want a new version of your preprint.
